Leather Degreaser

Description

The only degreaser we have found that actually works.
Aerosol product designed to draw grease out of leather.

Leather Types

All types of leather, but always with caution as colour loss is very likely to occur.

Applications

All types of grease or fat spillage
Body and hair oil build up (usually seen on head rest or armm end)
Any stain with a fatty or oily content carried into the leather
Essential process if re-colouring old or worn pigment leather if it shows any sign of oil or build up of dirt that has gone through the finish into the leather.

Please Note: TRADE & BULK PRICES AVAILABLE

Instructions

Spray the product liberally onto the affected area and feather out beyond the edges of the damage.
It is necessary to build up the product to give the grease somewhere to move to.
If the application immediately dries to a white powder your application is not heavy enough.
Once the degreaser has dried on the surface it will start to move the absorbed grease. This process will take up to 2 hours (can be spedded up with a heater)
The transfer of grease frpm leather to degreaser can be seen by a 'yellowing' of the white powder.
Once the product has been allowed to dry from the required time remove from the surface by vacuum or careful brushing then wipe with a damp sponge to remove residue.
View results and repeat if necessary.

Things that may assist the process:
Thorough cleaning with Stron Cleaner can soften grease before degreasing as can heating the area with a hair dryer.
Degreasing from the back of the panel (if accessible) as well as the front.
